Port Pearler Oysters

Port Pearler Oysters, an oyster farmer with a rich history, has flourished from its modest beginnings in the mid-80s to become a significant player at Casuarina Point, where the Hastings River estuary and Limeburners Creek tributary converge near Port Macquarie.
Port Pearler Oysters, a company known for its pioneering spirit, has embarked on a re-brand project and a new brand, Mangrove Jack. This new brand, a testament to their innovative approach, is designed to cater directly to the public.

To develop a new brand that could sit alongside the existing Port Pearler Oyster brand (which was also getting a freshen-up), we needed to understand their how & why, the point of difference, target audience, the values, the personality and where they wished to be positioned.

It became clear that this forward-thinking agricultural brand's history was rich and played a very significant role in telling the brand story. It was also clear that their audience was changing, as a younger demographic was enjoying their product but wanted to experience their farm-fresh oysters their way, shucked or unshucked.
During this project, we created:
- Brand refresh - Port Pearler Oysters
- New Brand - Mangrove Jack
- Car Signage
- E-Commerce website including historical timeline
